This policy explains what information Syagha's Pool collects when you book, how it is used, and who it is shared with.
Information we collect
You can browse this website, view shifts and see availability without an account and without giving us any personal information.
We ask for information only when you create an account or submit a booking:
- Your name
- Your phone number — used to send booking confirmations and reminders
- Your email address — used to sign in and to contact you about a booking
- The city you are travelling from — this determines your payment options
- Number of guests, and any notes you choose to add
- Your booking history, and any review you choose to leave
- Payment records — the amount, method and status of payments and refunds
Providing your gender is optional. If given, it is used only so that announcements for gender-specific events reach the right people.
We never see or store your card or bank details. Payments are made through Whish, and only the amount and status are recorded here.
How we use it
- To manage your booking and confirm your reservation
- To send a booking confirmation and a reminder before your booking, by WhatsApp
- To notify you about events and announcements, if you have an account
- To calculate the amount owed, and any refund due if you cancel
- To show reviews you submit, after they have been approved
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising by third parties.
Who we share it with
We share only what each service needs in order to work:
- Meta (WhatsApp) — your phone number and booking details, in order to deliver confirmations and reminders
- Whish — the payment amount and reference, in order to process payment
- Supabase — our database and hosting provider, which stores this information on our behalf
- Resend — our email provider, used to deliver booking notifications
How long we keep it
Booking and payment records are kept as business and accounting records, including for bookings that were cancelled or declined. If you ask us to close your account, we deactivate it rather than deleting these records, because we are required to keep an accurate history of transactions.
Your choices
- You can view and correct your details from your profile page
- You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you
- You can ask us to close your account
- You can stop WhatsApp messages at any time by replying to ask us to stop, or by blocking the number
- Browser notifications are only sent if you allow them, and you can withdraw that permission in your browser at any time
Security
Access to your information is restricted at the database level, so your bookings and payments are visible only to you and to the pool administrators. Reviews are not shown publicly until an administrator has approved them.
Children
Accounts are intended for adults making a booking. We do not knowingly collect information from children directly.
